panic

don’t feed my fear
it always consumes
regardless of it’s hunger
it’s desperation always
resumes

growling for attention
nothing will remedy
the hollow intentions
will continue through
dawn

measured by terror
plausible to subdue
with poise and attitude
crippling any weakness
relentlessly

forgotten to dwell
upon past mistakes
old habits and desires
rectified by tears
fortifited

inside of your own skin
